Congratulations dear Shafic! Looks wonderful!! Enjoy your new baby!!
Yes, more pics and details please.

Restoration is not just repainting. I am curious to know what you did in restoring the motor and bushes of the idler. Not taking away anything that you did.

Cheers

Thanks a lot Reuben, Rajiv, Anilji, manavji and all friends. Encouragement from you all is a great boost to future endeavours.
Thanks n regards.

Anil,
That motor was in excellent condition as far as I could judge so I didn't touch it. Anyway I don't have much expertise to play around with the motor.;)
Otherwise I have done all necessary cleaning n lubrication works, including spindle bearing. Dismantling and reassembling the unit is not an easy job.:)
Regards.

For all the complexity that you went through in dismantling and assembling, motor is relatively an easy one. Open and see, you might be surprised. Also you can be sure that everything has been done right.

With the right tools and the right knowledge a thorough overhaul would have been great ,!

Shafic... A bright colored plinth would be eyecatching but I suppose that's a personal taste

Thanks for the encouragement.
Will try.
