Good 2.1 speakers in Budget range

So my logitech speakers died today but its not necessarily a bad thing as those were POS and now I can buy new speakers without any guilt

My budget is upto 8k and to pair it, I have Creative X-Fi Titanium sound card on my computer..
Uses, would mostly include gaming and listening to music (which is mostly rock).
I prefer bass in my music but not a total bass head.

For now, I have edifier C3 in mind (which costs 7.5k in delhi afaik). Are there any better choices than this or should i buy these ?

Not aware of anything else that's "audiophile" in that budget. Guess you will need to settle for PC speakers from the likes of Creative/Logitech or Edifier (never heard them) if they sound better to your ears.

@ mafiaso if space not a constraint -- buy used 2 channel amp and speaker -maybe a 20 year old japanese one - and you will not be disappointed...!
