Very good. I need to do this sometime and have bookmarked the thread. I hope he completes it with the 1/4" and XLR instructions, although what is there already can probably be enough.

I although I used to be able to handle precious gold and silver, at red heat, I have always been daunted by electrical soldering. Practical guides like this are really useful.
