How many do you require????reply soon

R/S
I also would like to buy these, but can confirm after 3 weeks.

I ordered a pair of BAJAAO.COM - Buy Tang Band W5-704D 5-1/4" Woofer Online India, Musical Instruments Shopping
But it got damaged while it was in transit internally between seller and Bajaao, and it is now out of stock. Bajaao asked me to wait for 3 weeks to get new stock.

If Bajaao is not able to provide me this in 3 weeks, then only I will go with M16KI.

If you can get the tymphany drivers that siva is selling which had a group buy, they are 1/3rd of their actual cost and small enough and cheap enough for various projects.

Actually, I was thinking of 6.5 or 5.25 only for my next 3 way project.
This is what i was thinking
1) If I get a good 6.5inch with good low frequency response then I will probably match it to peerless dome mid and AMT/Ribbon.
2) If I get a good 5.25 like the Tang Band one which can easily perform good between 70-3000hz then I will make my 3 way as a Subwoofer + 5.25 + AMT/Ribbon.

You don't need the peerless dome mid. Maybe you can use the Tymphany full range driver as a mid for the voice band between say 300Hz to 6kHz.

Well, I have not heard or seen many diyers using peerless dome mid? any reason for that?
I am curious to try it as I read few people saying that dome mid sound natural and better than cone. It may be wrong and matter of taste

Maybe the dome mid sounds better - I wouldn't know.

hi aniruddha,

Dome mid according to me tend to sound little harsh not as smooth and clear like the paper cone which is rated to produce natural sound (voice),for mid freq paper cone is always prefered.

for low mids you can use the kevlar with sub for extreme lows..

Tangband ofcourse performs better but you have to shell out more money..

my few thoughts..

In that case, I will drop my plans to buy M16KI. I will look for something which can perform good between 70-3000Hz, mostly a good 5.25. If I don't get tangband from bajaao then I will look for Fountek FM135 as an option or wait for something new as I am not in a hurry right now.
I am just on the verge of finishing my MLTL using M13KH and TL25SN with ActiveBiamp circuit as described in other thread. Will take a break before I start another.
Thanks for your valuable suggestions.
