Grant Fidelity Tube DAC 09

Dear Friends,

Does anyone have any experience with this DAC? I have read some good things about this but couldn't find any in our forum. I was planning for a budget DAC and had almost finalized Musical Fidelity VDAC or Beresford 7250 when I read something about this ..

Looks like there are many DAC's out there with same internals as Grant Fidelity Tube DAC 09.
HLLY DAC-01 24BIT 96KHz Tube & Headphone Amp DAC Preamp
Even I read good reviews about this DAC.

This looks like one of those Chinese product that is re-badged by various sellers. I was concerned about the low SNR as well as the limitation of 96kHz in sampling.

Chinese but looks like worth trying and doing a comparison with a budget DAC ! .. Maybe try with changing the tube with a better one

Its a good DAC, if you have a chance do try it. You can tube roll if needed. Do not worry too much about SNR figures, this is more often than not just a direct conversion of the number of bits the DAC chip works at, it has nothing to do with the real SNR of the entire unit.
