Hi Prem,
do you know if Devdas (Banshali) lp is coming out. Also I heard Libaas lp is coming out for the first time. Do you have any news on that?
 
Few days back, I had made a list of Mahesh Bhatt movies released on Saregama, some for Nadeem-Shravan Hits. Twitted yesterday morning to Saregama/SonyDACD and Mahesh Bhatt for the same, I was done with Mahesh Bhatt compilation, which has many good tracks. We shouldn't miss KASOOR in this compilation, if they are releasing it on LP... it would be day 01 buy for me.

There are so many good songs from Bhatt films that we can easily fill 2 lps. Post this vinyl, we can have one more compilation each of Rahman and Bhatt films

BTW, what would be the incremental cost of 2LP set - would it be straight double the price?

My view is, if we have 'serious' 150 orders and make it attractive pricing, say 1499 :), we might as well plan for 2 LP set right away including many more hit songs - which would also avoid the hassle of regrouping, fund transfer, logistics management etc.

Additionally what would be the 'master' for these - analog or digital and would it be really worthwhile improvement over CD quality?
 
2lp is exactly double the price. I checked. There might be some minor saving in shipping I guess

Not yet, Even now their CDs are manufactured by R.K. Enterprises. Tips is not in manufacturing now.
