Gurgaon - DTH suggestions

Hi Friends,

News - Shifting to Gurgaon from first week of Sept.

Help needed for Gurgaon area (as I heard services are specific to areas)

A) DTH suggestion as per below requirement

1) HD - For TV as well as projector
2) 2-3 connections needed (2-3 TVs)
3) Not too much into sports - so sports channel is not a priority
4) Cost effective


B) Internet connection

1) Unlimited
2) Good speed
3) Cost effective

Had recently completed the HT set up. Now will have to unwind and redo the same again in Gurgaon....:sad:

Hey buddy,

I would say videocon D2H(HD) is the best ... i have been using this since last 4 months in sector 22 and no problem at all . It worked well even in the recent rains.

Though the HD platinum pack comes with a price of Rs 400 + taxes .. it covers all the channels ..

First things first.

Do you have access to the roof or does the house have any constraints in placements of any of the DTH antennas ?

In case you do not have any problem with these issues and if you are into sports I would recommend Videocon D2H with the Platinum HD pack.

Hi,

No access to roof. Balcony is there. However I am not into sports. Secondly, need 2-3 connections for different rooms. What should be better?

Are looking for HD ?

I have only tried IPTV (Airtel), DTH (Airtel), DTH (Tatasky). For HD now is it is either Videocon or Tatasky. Read on other places that Videocon has more no of channels and is priced lower.

Airtel's SD picture is also better than TS in my opinion.
