Harman kardon avr 4000 is not working :(

Hi there,
My friend having above mentioned avr which is not working now, its getting power on, but sounds are not coming. Earlier the sounds will come after 20-30 mins from when its switched on, now thats also not working. We are in bangalore and any help appreciated for making to work . Thanks

Search on forum as a number of issues on AVR and possible resolutions are provided. For starters, disconnect everythng and see if the AVR stays on and then start connecting one component at a time and finally one speaker at a time to figure out if others are causing it to shut off.

Component means, one input source? And we tried connecting one speaker at a time and the result is same. Earlier he gave to some service center(?) and they kept it for a month, then returned saying it cant be repaired here .

Any good service center here in bangalore?
