Hathway on multiple TV's

Hello,

I use Hathway Cable and HUMAX set top box. I have 2 TV's. I joined a new Cable into the existing one and used the same Set top box, but it shows no connection. In the old one its working fine. I have rechecked the connectivity , it is absolutely fine. Is there something another connection should not be joined to this?

Are you saying you extended the old cable with the new one? and used the set top box at the end of the new cable?

It should work. If it is not working then it is a problem with the new cable.

I didnt extend, I have joined the new Cable from the starting of the connection from Hathway. 1 : 2 Connection. Didnt use a splitter, just joined it.. Will it work?

Ignore setup box. first check without setup box are you able to see directly on TV at first Joint. If it's OK then check the same at other point. if it is working then cable is OK. Rather than joining The cable, connect first TV to RC out and second TV to antenna out of setup box. Otherwise you have to use splitter.

1 doubt guys...Do we need to get the smart card enables for second stb as well?

Yes all the smart cards have to be enabled before using them.
