800 bucks projector sold for 300..is it trying to tell something?

Read the review at the bottom of the page in that link. The person says that its native resolution is 800*600 only and not 1080p.

I see many of these projectors, at craigslist and on ebay. These are polished versions of the lumenlab projectors, with smaller LCD panels. The problem is the LCD panel are not really great quality. For the price, its better to buy a 720p projector and there are plenty selling with LED source around $400~$500 price range.
