Headphone connector for LG TV!

Hi, we have a new LG TV and recently bought some wireless headphones to go with it for the kids. But the TV does not have a headphone input at all! A friend said that I might be able to use the optical input to connect them, but the headphones just have a normal headphone jack - how can I connect the headphones to the TV when I only have HDMI, USB & optical inputs on my TV?? I am a complete beginner so will be grateful for any information at all! Thanks.

If youhave audio out try this connector

On cordless headphones slight amplification is done so it should work

2 rca male to 3.5mm female

I can understand your problem since I too have an LG 3D LED TV and it has only optical out. I have hence connected my wireless headphones using the "audio out" option in the TATA sky+ settop box. So this solves problems with TV sound but obviously I cannot hear when playing thro USB or Blue ray player. It is a compromise.
Alternative is to take the digital optical out to a an AV amplifier and using the audio of that to connect to your wireless headphone. This then solves all your problems, but then you need to keep both the TV and AV amplifier on...

Upon checking the technical specifications of the TV, it shows that you have two options to connect the wireless headphone on the TV. When we say wireless headphone, means that you have a box or a cable to connect on the back of the TV. You may try to use the Digital Optical cable or the headphone tip to connect on the back of the TV. Using the red and white cable that will not work because all of the red and white port on the back of TV says IN not OUT.
