Hec....I did it !

Congrats! Not to mention that Dali speakers are the best value for money in India today, bar none. US retail price $475, Indian price $357. Even the higher end models in the lakhs, Epicon etc. are cheaper in India than overseas. No BS 30%-50% markup over US price etc. for these. Not sure how Dali does this pricing, and why others don't follow.
Cheers,
Sid

In my journey into Hi-Fi audio I have now come a long way. Started back then when computers ran with 128 MB RAM, and the script for the movie "The Social Network" was beyond anyone's imagination, it was then I had a Mercury 4.1 computer speaker system which sounded amazing to me. Then soon after I bought with my own money a creative Sound Blaster 7.1 sound card, brimming with pride I showed it off and my friends envied me because it sounded so great in my tiny little room! From then to now, it has been an arduous walk. About couple of years back I found my way to this forum, in hindsight or I can tell now that in 20 years time I will say "from that moment my life changed forever", no I did not lay my eyes on my soul mate, nor did I have an epiphany , instead looking for the review of Edifier C3 I stumbled to one of the pages. Good thing I had a reading habit, kept reading, learning and wondering.
Back in 2012 I decided I want to be in the 'game', people suggested me that I am to have two different set ups dedicated for HT and stereo separately. I scoffed at the thought and cynically raised my brow to mutter "yes, you may have money to burn, but I barely have enough to....". Look at me now, I am a capitalist pig! I now indeed have two discreet setups, for HT and stereo. Once I delved into this world, the appetite is just insatiable, I mean this does not make any sense, it is beyond my logic and my urge for spending, which is almost always grounded and frugal at the best of times!
I can now hear the shortcomings of the Sonodyne amp, I can now testify the need of a quality DAC...where does this end...

Hi Guys,

Need some suggestions for an amplifier for the Triangle Color floorstanders. They are brilliant speakers but treble can be too forthcoming at times and I wanted to check if any of you have any experience with these speakers and what sounds good with it. This is primarily for music and currently I was choosing between the Marantz PM6005 and the CA Azur 651A but haven't tried either with the speakers.

Thanks !
