Dear Members -
First of all hello to the members of this wonderful forum. Though, I have been following up with this forum from quite some time but now I decided to join the forum to contribute and learn with fellow members.
I have been audio system enthusiast since many years. I owned home theaters from Bose, Kenwood, Marantz etc.. Recently, I bought Marantz 1402 receiver from US and moved back to India. Some how, I noticed that the receiver used to sound far better in US but I do not get that punch while playing in India. All the conditions remains same (I have same floor standing Polk speakers). I think, it might be due to the change in Voltage. In US, it is 110 volts but in India due to 240 volts, I have to but a step down transformer.
I want to understand from members, that does it make sense or I am wrong in my assumption. You help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
