Help buying Speakers and Amp/AVR

So, I have been lurking around these forums for quite a while and been researching a good 2.0 Setup. The only problem is my budget, being a student I am limited to a budget of around 20k for the complete setup.

I had narrowed down to Pioneer BS-22 but I cant find budget amp to drive them.

Suggestion for other Speakers-Amp combo are also welcome.

Well you can order the SMSL SA50 from china, it should cost you around 7000 of your hard earned money (delivered). keep in mind though that the BS-22 are relatively hard to drive speakers, and the SA-50 is a T-amp, so although it may claim to be 50Wpc it is more or less like 20-30wpc (beyond that it would lose its mind and distort like a ****).

How much are you getting the BS-22 for? Depending on that people might suggest something else.

if youre looking to play off a computer, look at a 2.1 computer audio setup. theyre pretty good

ive also read that there are some good active speakers out there for under 20k. so you wont need a separate amp. that should work well for you too

I am getting the BS 22 for 15k.

You might find a better deal locally or other online retailers, maybe other FMs can chip in here.

The speaker itself is excellent. The Swans M50W is another option to consider, but its 2.1.

ive heard very good things about swan speakers. didnt know that they were in india. any idea who is selling / anyone that has heard these speakers. theyre on the lines of usher. come out of far east at a good value
