Hey Guys
I'm in a big dilemma of choosing between receivers in fact i have no issues spending money for a great receiver which ever is better, Yamaha RX A3020 MRP 1,35, 000 INR and Onkyo TX NR5010 MRP 2,00 ,000 INR. I did have audition of onkyo 3009 with energy speakers CF 70 system and Yamaha 2010 with paradigm monitor both sound good as i took my own demo blu-rays for the audition.

Regards
Rajesh

IMO those are overkill compared to the speakers you have in mind. You should consider at least the paradigm studio series or better. And consider slightly lesser budget receiver.

Is your plan for home theater or music?

Its for home theater and music got a 750 sq feet dedicated room planning on klipsch RF82II package or RF7II Package with 7.1 channel and i said i saw audition with those speakers :D

For the room size you need a good pre processor and a great power amp. No receiver will suffice the need.

That's not true Kittu. Also 750sq feet isnt that huge a space.
You can easily have small setups outdoors in entirely open spaces and they'll still perform just fine.

Having that much room lets one keep the setup away from the walls but he'd have to get some kind of sound anti reflective surfaces to prevent echo reflections.

Either way my suggestion is, look for a balance of 50/50 between speaker value and receiver value.

Size =/= quality.

750 sq ft.....you have a hall man...
can chack rajneteren thread..he is selling his gear at half price.really powerfull ones.still its around 8 lakhs...expensive

yes avr cant handle that load.power amps are undoudebly needed.
or you can try avrs with pre outs at around 80k like denon 33 range/or onkyo equivelents and use separate(for centre, fronts, rears diffrent diffretn) or multichannel strong int amps combined with it.
it will be powerful set up than a 2 lakh avr...at about say 1.3 lakh or more/less cost

for speakers you can check different brands proffessional ranges...

and a real powerful svs sub will be good.

With 750 sqft Hall, actual layout & position of HT set up is important. If you plan to keep set up on one side of Hall then you may not need very powerful amp.Still you can think of Anthem for good budget.

Thanks guys for the tips ill take into consideration, The dimension of the room is 30 x 25 x 12 perfect box built exclusive for home theater purpose. I will do complete acoustic treatment for the walls, ceiling and floor carpets, im going for a 9.2 channel receivers later i can use a power amp to make it a 11.2 channel for my room size, but my initial setup will be 7.1 channel :D, so my choice is either Onkyo TX NR5010 or Yamaha RX A3020, i know there is no contents supported more than 5.1 and 7.1 as of now.

Though I have experienced the performance of some mid-range AV receivers, I haven't been lucky to have the same for high end receivers. In that context, I am no expert in giving suggestions, but let me throw my thoughts as well since you have asked for the BEST AV receiver.
To my mind (of course based on various reviews), the top two brands that come to my mind are NAD and Mcintosh when it comes to sheer power and outstanding sound quality. I heard Mcintosh is known for the outstanding quality/reliability, but way too costly as well. Next comes the NAD. I am just seeing the specs of NAD T787 AV receiver which claims 120 Watts continious power driven on all the 7 channels. The outstanding part is their power delivery with all the channels driven. There are reviews which claim that NAD T787 is the best among all. Again, this comes at a huge price (not sure what the rate is). May be around 3L ... :) This high end NAD receiver can drive most of the power hungry speakers with minimal fuss.

The other great thing about NAD is that unlike other brands, they do not give much importance to the exterior looks, cosy features, multiple DSPs, etc. Their only purpose is the pure sound quality and nothing more than that. While other brands are going for more slimmer design look, NAD keeps on adding more than 1 transformer to power the channels. NAD T787 has two transformers. So it can take on any high power speakers with very less distortion. In fact I like the way they disclose their actual power ratings.

Shanmune i appreciate ur response, NAD - T-787 is 4000$ its 1000$ more than my budget just on receivers i have to spend on my speakers and projector too... need to spend a balanced amount for a complete setup of home theater :D. Onkyo TX NR5010 has One Massive Toroidal Transformer and Two Separate Transformers for Audio and Video Processing and rated output @8ohms is 145 watt per channel

I compared basic NAD AVR with Yamaha 667.I can say NAD sounded very warm & less detailed with PSB image system.Yamaha was better with good details.Treble was a bit sharper ,still overall good experience. Nad had better music & overall sound stage.

Dunston, I am feeling a bit uncomfortable recommending you something I am selling, but it seems like you are just in time for this. And not only the time, but also the situation. You have the space and after going through all your posts, I get a feeling of your passion towards personal home theater. You are the kind of person my kit would love to go to.

I am selling a complete home theater. There is a thread in the sale by owner section for the same. You may want to check that out. One of the items in that sale is one of the most powerful and one of the best sounding multichannel receivers, Denon - AVC-A1SRA. It was Denon's flagship a few years ago and a dream machine at that time. Just putting the model number in Google will overwhelm you with the praises this machine has got.

I would suggest you to look at the listing. You may end-up buying something better than anything available in the market at the price you are looking at, and yet save money.

Ranjeetrain nice master piece you have for sale :D. Im sorry to say this i don't buy used products i spend for a new ones its just me. I have Paradigm signature series set to my mind , im just confused with receivers

You can take pioneer LX86 into consideration....
It is a class D amplifier and a 9.2 channel, i think it suits you.
I think it will suit for paradigm studio as am using paradigm moniter with pioneer lx receiver
