Help me for AVR settings.

I have connected my Pioneer vsx 920k with the 7.1 speakers. When I play a dolby TruHD file from ASUS oplay mini. It dosent show the Truhd. The file is Dolby Channel check. The sound is available in only the front 3 channels. when iplayed the same file with 2 from speakers it showed Dolby truhd. but now it dosent. Please help me. Thanx

Check the sound settings of the media player. Set it to bitstream and try again.

I found 3 options in Audio settings of media player

HDMI LPCM
HDMI Multi Channel LPCM
HDMI RAW

How are you connecting player to receiver? HDMI, optical, coax?

HDMI Multi Channel LPCM
HDMI RAW

Press AUTO SURROUND on the receiver. Then try setting your media player to HDMI RAW (I'm assuming that's their name for bitstreaming).

Try HDMI RAW. This way the player will send the audio without decoding to the AVR.
