Hi All,

I own a pair of Mission 782 speakers, and unfortunately, one of the mid-woofers has been completely damaged. I had lent the speakers to my brother, and due to mishandling, the mid-woofer is now beyond repair.

I am currently looking for a suitable replacement mid-woofer. I've attached the spec sheet I found online for your reference.

If anyone has suggestions on where I could source a replacement or knows of a compatible driver, I’d really appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Sreejith

Try eBay USA
I’ve already tried searching on eBay but haven’t had any luck finding the exact replacement for the Mission 782 mid-woofer.

Some Reddit threads suggest possible alternatives, but those options require a certain level of DIY skills or modifications—which I unfortunately don't have. I’m ideally looking for a replacement that’s easy to install or manage without extensive technical work.

Would really appreciate any leads or advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar issue.

Thanks,

Hi sreejith ...

sorry to hear about the damage. I can understand how terrible it feels. While the original Keraform drivers are close to impossible to procure. There is a drop in replcement from Audax itself, called the Aerogel HM130Z0. It is basically even the same frame and mounting screw arrangement. I found them available on the below site , in case you want to check them out.

Apart from the above, there is a much superior driver called the Aerogel HM130Z10, this has better clarity, though the frame is slightly thicker than the original. But it is still a drop in replcement for your driver. However, you will have to buy a pair to change both the drivers, to maintain evenness. Below is a link to these drivers on Madisound in the USA. All the best :)
