Folks,

Is there any issue in connecting speakers of different impedance to AVR? Shortly I will be recieving my AVR and firstly I am planning to audition it with my existing speaker sets, which are from different manufacturers & impedance rating. My present fronts are of 8 ohm, rear 6 ohm and centre 3 ohm rating. So will there be any problem in AV experience? My AVR is having 8 & 6 ohm settings, so what setting I should use?

From my little knowedge, I think that the fundamental ohm's law (V= IR) will apply here and more current will be drawn towards speaker of least impedance. Will this heat up the amp fast???? Will there be tonal imbalances????

Throw in some light .....

Hey no reply...?????

thanks
