Help on speakers and amps

I am new to the forum, have been following quite a few posts here.
I am basically looking for some Floor standers for my HK AVR 1550 as fronts(budget arnd 25K).
Any good suggestions? I have listened to a few ( though not with my AVR....9.1, and Jamo 506 at Boom A Rang, Mumbai). I intend to do some auditioning with my AVR.
I also am looking for a stereo amp (@ 60W/ch and budget around 25K) which would go with the Floor standers. I intend to use a LYRITA(SS) as pre-amp.
This setup would purely be for music.

So is it right for me to look for the speakers first and then try to match an AMP or should I do the other way around?

what did you hear at boomerang

i thought they had nothing to offer in a 25k-30k budget for floorstanders

the budget can get you only entry level floorstanders like the Mordant short MS 906, warfdale 9.5, Jamo C 405 , Maybe theolder PSB Alpha T1 towers

As I had posted earlier, the entry level Jamos are arnd 17K. Thats what i heard at Boomarang.

I am basically into Indian music + western classical....also have a lot of LP's. Plan to put my Gerard changer to full use.

if that is the S series, please avoid it unless your main use is HT and not stereo music

at that sort of budget imo bookshelves are better. much better sound quality
