Hi,

i need help with deciding HDMI cable 1.4 since there are two: one with ethernet and one without ethernet, which one i should buy ? my TV is Samsung UA55F6400, which already have wifi built in. do i still need this ethernet ?
anyone can tell the purpose of using this hdmi cable with Ethernet ?

i will use this hdmi cable to connect my bluray player to this TV.

thanks mate!

with or without Ethernet wont make a difference to Samsung TV. as Ethernet one will only work of both the devices at either end support the Ethernet Protocol over HDMI which i doubt is the case..

so a without Ethernet one will be just fine.

I wouldn't spend money on Monster. I have Prolink HDMI, I haven't used it for 3D yet but it says it works in 3D. And it's pretty cheap.

Hi

I use monster cables (5 meters) and it works like a breeze.....some may recommend that cables are cables at the end of the day..the connectors, length, build quality matters....

Home Theatre dealers usually have custom made to order cables which can be concealed...these would be of good quality...you may want to checkout before making any hasty decision or purchases.

Hope this helps.

I would never tell that cables are cables and pick first one in a row ;) I have Prolink for the same reasons you said but in my opinion Monster adss extra for the brand name...
