Hello all,
I own a Sony VPL-XW5000ES projector paired with a 120inch ALR screen in my home theatre. I have done the basic calibration of panel alignment but am unable to grasp how to colour calibrate the projector to get the best results in my viewing environment in both HDR and SDR settings.

Can you guys share any DIY tutorials or professional calibrators in Jaipur that can help with this? I tried sonitronic which is listed as an official ISF calibrator in Jaipur but they seemed uninterested in just doing the calibration.

Any resource would be a great help. Thanks!

Not a professional, but these setting are working fine in my set up.
Cheers,
Sid

Hi Sid,

I've tried the settings from projector central initially when i got the projector and got decent results in SDR but HDR was completely overblown. Ultimately I preferred the standard Reference setting in the projector and reverted back to that.

From what i've read projectors vary a lot in individual units so the calibration must be done at an individual projector level. Just looking for people/solutions that can help with that.
