HELP : want a Volume Control IC(MAS9116)

Hi Friends,

My arcam amplifier (fmj a32) is showing irregular volume levels. Sometimes it works smooth but when touching the volume dial either to increase or decrease volume it produces extreme volume. Then goes to protection mode.

I have faced same issue few years back but become normal with out any repair after few days. This time it didn't happen and I gave it to a technician and he advised me to find this IC.
According to him the volume control IC need to be replaced.

I am not able to find it locally and send a mail to arcam but not successful.

If anybody knows to source it please help me.

I got reply from him today. But bad luck,he doesn't have it.
Still searching...
