hey guys thanks for the response
right my budget isnt fixed right now.
but am mostly looking at mid priced stuff.(around a lakh for the complete audio system)
the thing is i have a pretty big dedicated room its about 10X30 feet.
so am not sure about the power to go for...
denon is very overpriced in india..
so am looking towards either the CA azur 540r or 640r
does anyone have any idea about the cost of a new 640r?cause HDMI is important to me.
and lastly am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question..
so mods please feel free to move the thread around

As far as I know the CA Azur 640R costs INR 66,000.00

any other receivers that can do both music and HT well?

try Marantz and Yamaha , both brands are available for around 30k and they are pretty decent too., also try harmon kardon , very good stuff for a little more money.
