Hifi systems from thd US

Is it worth buying a hifi system from the US as it seems very much cheaper?
I am in Sydney Australia

US is unquestionably cheap. But the logistics? You might lose on freight and import duty what you gain on prices. But it makes 100% sense to pick up small and lightweight items while traveling. Friends can help too.

Btw, JB HiFi often has discounts, significant reduction. After those discount prices are quite favorable. You don't mention what kind of stuff. But if you can find on discount what you need locally, freight and duties may not be worth paying.
