I came across a used Himedia HD600A wifi model for 5K. The condition looks good. Is it worth buying it?

How much old it is? IIRC, it was priced around 4.5-5K only in 2011. IMHO, 5K is high for a used product. You can buy new android box for that price.

I'm mainly looking for one that passes dolby and dts HD audio through avr. Which android box does that?

I don't know whether Android box will support passthrough.

Yes, I saw that one but it does not have network support. The Himedia I mentioned also is listed in ebay. Here is the link..

Don't we have any authorized sellers/dealers for himedia or xtreamer in any of the southern states? Only WD player is widely available. I thought the Himedia listed in ebay looked decent but not sure about the price now..
