My Himedia Q10 Pro got delivered today after a long wait for almost 2 months when stocks were not available. Need your esteemed feedback of the product and setting up of Kodi (Version 17 installed)

The app picks up himedia itself if both are on same wifi . The screen navigation is smooth on phone. Typing on phone makes crome/youtube very much usable.it also allow the cursor to move with phone motion. Himedia screen is also repicated on phone with one of the options. Although i did not like it much. The remote is good but this app makes the experience way better.


Not sure if this app will work with anything else. some one must try.

I ordered it in Dec 2016 as a pre-order. The desptach kept on postpoing in view of unavailability of stock at Futeko, UK. Every time the dispatch was delayed, they refunded 5 GBP..Total of 15 GBP refund. Placed the order in 159 GBP, So after refunds got it in 144 GBP (Approx 13k)hyeah:

Initial Impressions: Great Media Box, Totally satisfied with PQ and most importantly 7.1 Audio Passthroughs and Decoding!!:yahoo:

Try a hard reset. If not, try upgrading to latest firmware..

Happened to me a couple of times. Turned out it was the batteries that needed replacement one time and the other was when I put into mouse mode, which meant toggling the remote back out of mouse mode.

Good to hear that helped. That dang mouse button on the remote gave me a scare too for a bit when I first ran into the problem.

Difficult to say. If it's this Himedia Q10 PRO QUAD CORE ANDROID TV BOX A53 CPU: Amazon.in: Electronics it is way overpriced. You can get it for much less from Futeko or Aliexpress even after customs duty. No warranty from either of them, though.

The product on Amazon India does not state manufacturer warranty, rather it appears to be a seller warranty and the seller does not indicate being an authorized distributor/reseller of Himedia products.

I have a question to the folks here. How is the audio performance? Is it equal to a DAC+Bluray Player or just average?

Sorry for a delayed reply from my side.

Audio performance to me is just fine. Passthroughs not a problem. However, yet to test some decoding features, shall update soon.

Hi, nice player there.
The remote of my himedia hd600 stopped working today (enjoyed this for 6 years) so thinking of getting a new player, also present player doesn't have h.265 support.
not able to decide between popcorn hour A500 or himedia Q10 pro.
