Home theater set up under 40 k

Hi I would like to improve my Sound system with an AV receiver with 2 speakers Book shelve/ Floor stands.By researching this forum I shortlisted Denon AVR 1312 and 2 Polk Audi TSi 200, ( My room size is around 13 ft X 11 Ft ,so I think floorstands are not suitable ) . Presently I have no plan to go for sub and surround...My purpose is mainly watch 70 % TV ( SAMSUNG 40 LED with Videocon HD ) and 30% music.I request you to please advice me to set up a HT ,with your suggestions.
