Home theatre setup for 12*10 room

Hi,

I want to make one of my bedroom into flexible home theatre room(using as bedroom and home theatre).

My budget is less , so i planned to use thick curtains as acoustics and thick floor carpet.

I already have Yamaha rxv-585 with WHARFEDALE FLOOR STANDING SPEAKER(LR), BIC Venturi central channel and Venturi bookshelf as surrounds, sub is taga tsw 212se.

Motorized screen
Projector optima 1080p.
Nvidia shield tv pro.


My doubt is can the curtains work as acoustic material??

What are the other pocket friendly acoustics treatment we have??

Curtains are very good. Any other sound treament panels will make your room look more HT and less bedroom. Curtains will maintain the balance.
