I cant seem to land on any recent genuine reviews for JVC RX-D702. I am in talks with a person for his old JVC RX-D702, without the remote and front left door. Is 11K a good price for this?

Looking for a entry level Stereo Speaker Pair+ amp or receiver (without too much complexity)

Shorlisted Speakers - Polk Audio RTi A1, Wharfedale 10.2
Amp - good quality - although price sensitive, don't care about video up-scaling or networking. 5.1 set up optional.

Isn't this the one one ebay priced @10K now without remote and left front door off. The seller claims this is showroom demo display piece.
Specs are good but everything else seems too fishy. There is no warranty and with broken parts its certainly looks it has taken some abuse. You dont even know if it was repaired piece.
Stay away my 2 cents

Yeah, it was me dealing with seller. Brought down the price from 15K + 500 shipping to 10K with shipping. All the time he would not post pics, and even when he did, he won't post in on ebay, he just mailed them to me. The last pic (in the ebay listing) showing the missing front left door was almost prized from the seller after me repeatedly asking why he won't give the complete front picture, earlier pics were cropped to leave out that portion.

The seller won't reveal how old the part is, i found out that this was discontinued in 2006-2007 to which he won't comment. He told me that there was no remote and that they were unable to source a new one from JVC.

I was earlier interested in the product but now since have given up.
