How to connect tata sky to AV receiver

Hi,

I have TATA sky connection which is connected to my sony LED tv. I also have an home theater system. i want to connect the TATA sky to my AV receiver ie. onkyo TXSR-608 for watching movies and listing music. pls adivce me.

If you have the TS SD box then you have only option to connect using analog stereo connection (the red and white cable). If you have HD or HD plus box then you can use HDMI , Coaxial or optical out connection to your AVR.

If you have Tata Sky+ HD, then connect the box to the receiver using coaxial cable (a simple RCA cable). The HDMI port of the HD+ box does nnot output Dolby Digital. Hence the coaxial connection is required. HDMI can be connected directly to the TV.
