How to create a speaker stand

Can u please advice me to create a good quality of speaker stands with wood. If anyone of you have already made such, they can share there views or pics. even you guys can send the design as it might be helpful for me. Please guys help me out to create my wooden speaker stand.

I guess you should saev yourself from the hassle and should buy them ready made. Or if you want to save buck, buy plastic furniture stools and use some good cloth over that. You should be set (thats what I am doing at the moment)
