Hi All,
this is on behalf of a friend of mine.
He bought a Samsung LE 40 C 530 Full HD TV and it supports MKVs.
He has the following questions,
1.) Is there any MKV size limit to be played via USB on the TV? I mean can he play BD rips in MKV format (7-8 GBs) via a USB stick?
2.) He would want the audio to be connected to a legacy Philips Home theater system which has only composite cables, no Optical Input. Now he could find only a Digital optical out from the rear of the TV Unit. He can't use this to plug into the Home theater.
Is there any other way to get the Audio Output of the Movie to the Composite input of the Home theater?
I myself checked in the manual but couldn't find such a port on the tv rear?
Please help!
