Hi Guys
I apologize but i am not sure where to post this question

I have a .dts file that i want to put in a .mkv container.
Any body knows how that can be done?

I want to put this .dts file in an empty .mkv container.

Also want to know if WDTV live plays content with .dts extension?

I had a file but WDTV live doesnt even scan it.

Thanks

WD Live supports DTS format but cannot downmix to stereo and can only send to an AVR via Optical out. To put a .dts file into a MKV container use MKVToolnix to merge/remove video/audio/subtitle etc to a single file. BTW, is .dts file ripped from any movie? Can you be more elaborate on this...

Nope it is eagles hotel california song in dts.
I have used MKVToolnix but i dont find an option to do that.

thanks

^^After installing, you would have a programm called MKV merge. Run it and you will have the main window with an option to add the mkv file. Once the MKV is added on the second window you will see what streams/information the file has . In here, add the DTS you want and disable the streams you don't..... click start muxing ...simple .. :)

What sam9s says is correct, I have tried this software and were successful. And I hope you have the latest ver.4.4 installed.
