I have a converter(it does reverse 110 to 220 too at the flip of a switch) that does 100W i bought in 6$.

It is like thinking about 40Rs extra coke inside multiplex where u booked gold class tickets for 500.

from my experience, a CD player is the last component one should buy from an unknown buyer...unless you have the DIY skills required to change lasers/transport mechanisms !
