Interesting. Search "HD" in the document to save time .

Star has gotten an approval for quite a few channels on 22nd Dec 2010. I am wondering why HBO HD doesn't appear there, when DishTV HD is transmitting a channel called HBO HD. Does that make it an official SD=>HD channel?

where do you read it as India feed ???

Company's name contains "India". Indian companies are compelled to send their feeds from India.

I don't know about the above statement but if you see FX, Crime, NG HD, Discovery HD, they all have only downlinking permissions. Their feed is from some other state. In that list star movies hd, and star world hd has uplinking from India so their content will be the same as the SD version and not like NG HD and Discovery HD which has other content then their SD version. Asia feed has better programming than India feed.

that I have been wondering too....but.......coming to the India feed...Every channel which has to be distributed in India via cable or DTH/iptv has to have a registered office in India...you should check the cables regulation act.....the only way you can access a non registered channels(that is not having India in its company name is by putting up your C Band dish(15 to 25' dia) and then tune into its service.

It's interesting that HBO doesn't figure in this list in spite of already having an HBO HD for south asian countries and HBO being one of the 2 most popular indian english movie channels (Star movies and HBO).
