Impedance Correction in Single Drivers

Hello friends. In the world Multi Drivers and of crossovers, the impedance correction circuitery called "Zobels" is of importance.
my question is;
How important or not, is the same circuit in Single Driver situation. Would having one distroy the benfits of Single Driver Sound?
