Import Issues - Compressed Air Cans + Contact Cleaner

Hello Folks ,
I had purchased some of this from usa and lined it up for transport to india .Suddenly i get a email that these are classified as dangerous goods and cannot be transported to india .I called up fedex in USA And they say that they only allow this to land into india at select locations and the clearing agent has to be by the company who imports it .Also they added up that the shipper in usa should be "Certified Dangerous goods shipper " .I see tonns of stuff here on sale in india as far as compressed air and contact cleaners are concerned .Whats going on is going above my head .Please can someone guide me

Aerosol cans are deemed unsafe for shipping since they may explode at high altitudes when they get decompressed.

Get it shipped by sea. Months, rather than hours, but it might avoid the airline restrictions.

Oh! It had not occurred to me that one may not be able to just send a package by "surface" mail these days, and that my idea might be difficult to do without buying a container-full
