this is a transactional thread. Post on this whenever you are listening to internet radio and find a good station, or good music running on even a station shared earlier.

These are some of the good ones I listen to on Squeezebox...good quality...128 upwards;

Powerstation Buddha
Freebird Radio Classic Rock
Soft Classic Rock Radio
1.FM - Chill Out Lounge
1.FM - Adore Jazz
1.FM - Absolute Blues
Trance Elements (320 Kbps)
Fusion Radio
Power Jazz FM
Smooth Lounge Radio
World Fusion Radio

My squeezebox gets neglected for weeks, then suddenly it is my most popular gadget for a while! I had one sleepless night, where I took the Duet controller to bed, connected it to a portable speaker, and listened to British and American folk from several stations. Did more of the same in the day, and yesterday I had a quick burst of Grateful Dead live concert from the Internet Archive.

One thing I was really noticing was the difference between highly compressed and not so compressed music. Some stations have a choice of stream (easy to access on the Duet remote, but I haven't found a way from PC Squeezeserver) and one can compare.

I am hooked on to the Squeezebox ... in fact, spend more time with it than anything else.

Try Calm Radio ... has multiple channels catering to violin solo, piano & violin tracks, jazz, country, classical etc etc .... superb reproduction through the T amp and JBL speakers. It serves as streaming back-ground music in the living room.

I end up typing the genre and numerous channels are up for grabs on the SBT screen. Fab ghazal channels are there too. Lemme make a list and put in here!
