1 centre - have to buy
2 surround sound - have to buy

Hi

Yes....why too many posts for the same question?

Sorry i thought speakers and what to buy are two diff sections, with diff experts :) my assumption....

Can you suggest the following in mid range price...

centre
a sub whoof
and 2 surround

Is there any similar alternate to denon1200x with harman,
will the pricing be higher or lower for harman

thanks

80WPC should be able to drive TSx440, however, I have gone for demo of x1200 & x2200 several times and everytime I felt that x1200 is lacking power, visible different was felt in comparing it with others. It does not mean that x1200 is bad AVR, but just my opinion that one should look for more power if want to drive 3-WAY FS if possible.
You can look for x2200 if want to drive FS efficiently.
We did 1:1 comparison at BassnTreble @Gurgaon and we felt that it is over rated w.r.t. power..... Marantz 50WPC AVR was kind of doing better job than it. Also... please do 1:1 comparison with the other choice you have
Its just my opinion....

Hi,

Marantz does a better job as it is manufactured with higher grade components....same company manufactures Denon which is relatively cheaper.

The Pioneer 800 series and above are good including the LX series..

End of the day it all boils down to personal preferences and budget!

As for speakers, the ones which can deliver maximum frequencies between 20hz and 20khz is considered as best..again this depends on size, cabinet and cone material.

Audition and decide....

Have you connected the speakers to AVR and checked ?

Or you are also looking for an AVR?

no i checked it at sellers house, with maranz and kenwood top series.

I am looking for a avr to buy, and its getting confused which to buy that can drive these 5.1setup....

i check 2200 price, they are more than double for denon1200,
so out of my budget, pls suggest me in range 40K to 50K

60 max....

You can check marantz nr series which comes at your budget. Also check for yamaha and pioneer they all have good power to light up your speakers well.

I am using tsx440 with denon 520bt . As my requirement was only 5.1 took this option . Denon 1200 will definitely work well with the package. Please visit profx and cross verify

It can drive without problems. I have denon x3000 to power my speakers. It is a small room of 12 x 17.

Try auditioning x1200 & x2200 side by side with the same set of speakers. If it satisfy your taste.

Calibration is very important.
