Hello all,
I use Denon 1306 AVR , the connection is as follows :
samsung DVD player->TV (not via HDMI )
coax audio output of DVD player -> Denon AVR 1306 coax input.
Now when I play the DVD ( ex: I played Lion King original DVD), the AVR doesn't sense the DTS/Dolby and doesn't decode the channels to L/R,Centre appropriately rather plays fine only in stereo mode or prologic or neo mode.
The option in AVR of "auto" select is chosen to enable AVR to detect the audio source automatically, even then it doesn't sense properly.
Whiel I explicitly set as "DTS", no sound from L or R or Centre channel.
NOTE: Am not evening using AVR for video. only for audio decoding.
This model does support DTS. It used to work fine.
Am I missing something ? Your suggestions are welcome.
or should I take it to a Denon service centre ?
Also the FM tuner doesn't work even if I insert a normal wire.
