I propose to get the iXtreamer from the UK where it costs British Pounds 179 (Rs 13,000) without the hard disk and BP 279 (Rs 20,000)with a 2 TB disk.

I learn that In India it costs Rs 18000 without the HD. I wonder how much would a 2 TB HD costs in India?

Any views please?

I prefer Western Digital over any other brand for HDD.

Same here, after the firmware failures that i had with seagate, i am not putting my money on them. Plus i like the WD service option of courier pickup and delivery.
