Pros: For 5.9K it's a great deal. Don't miss it. Sounds great when combined with a sub in a 2.1 set up for hi-fi. Work very well as AV surround. Very responsive to fast input signals. Room filling, big & bright sounding speakers.
Cons: 1. Issues with cone edge surround .... "foam rotting".
2. Slightly metallic & brassy hf, which is JBL's signature tone which was always there in all their speakers in the mid 80's & 90's.:indifferent14: Starting from their vapor deposited titanium domes to their pure titanium domes.
As for the wharfe 121 has an upper hand over the JBL's, are ideal choice for regular 2 ch stereo set up. Natural sounding, melodious, soft, smooth & refined. More soothing to ears. After all ever good thing comes with a premium price tag. Can't help that.
