Those familiar with the Bangalore live music scene may know of Carlton Braganza and OPUS - a legendary live music venue that has featured virtual who's who of India's music scene. Carlton has since moved on, performing all over the world, and is known for his wide repertoire that ranges from Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra to Queen, Bruno Mars, Andrea Bocelli and Pavarrotti. To say that he is a musical rarity is a huge understatement.

During the lockdown, Carlton began singing from his bedroom in what became known as "Jukebox Jammies with Carlton Braganza". He sang for 70 nights every night right through lockdown 1.0 and 2.0. Once lockdown was lifted he changed to a Thursday - Sunday schedule which included a rotation of singers/artists who either join him in his bedroom or virtually online. The current lineup consists of Throwback Thursdays (featuring a chosen charity every week), Fireball Fridays (featuring a guest artist in a Friday night party setting), Nirvana Saturdays (an extended weekend set featuring a guest artist) and laid back Sundays (which are more family friendly).

Tonight's Nirvana Saturday features legendary Shillong based Blues Band Soulmate (Rudy Wallang and Tipriti Kharbangar) along with local well established Bangalore talents Sylvester Pradeep and Joel Rosario. Follow the OPUS page on Facebook (www.facebook.com/myopus) to view the session which is streamed live at 9:30 pm on Facebookk, Youtube and Instagram.

p.s. Don't forget to look for me (and say hello) in the Facebook comments section!
