In principle, yes (say so as I have not experienced this model yet). This model is quite highly rated and regarded. And the 426 has a remote control too.

However being a newer model (I think costing about $350, new), may not be in the range of every FM enthusiast's budget. From my experience, very few enthusiasts are ready to pay that kind of money for listening to Indian FM broadcasts.
