India imposes a huge tax on manufacturers particularly on large screens that are deemed luxurious. The second reason could be the power of dollars as the apex currency(although a smaller reason). They would have to convert it twice to get Japanese currency but USD is like a straight local currency. The third maybe due to the fact that in India, demand is less for huge screens as compared to USA. So they probably incur logistical expenses that is not reduced by larger volumes of transactions. In economics purchasing power parity plays a major role. For example in USA, newspapers are sold at close to Rs.150 in Indian exchange rates while we still get them under Rs.10. Even in Electricals and Electronics some things are cheaper here for instance select soundbars, bulbs, smart watches, shaving machines, hair dryers, table fans. Why, even dolls and toys are cheaper here.
