And the other good news is that Bluesound too takes 5V so, in the future if you decide to upgrade Bluesound, you will need to buy that kit that I mentioned previously and use the Farad.

Yes, that is where we all lose hope. Every brand praises its own product but I would still insist on going to the specialists. Power is key in attaining silence and silence reveals so many new findings in music.

What he probably missed, is to add that we don't choose our music to sound great on our system. We do it the other way around.

I was addressing the point of his system being not able to decipher a complex piece of music and in my experience, most of such problems emanate from the source and hence my piece of advice.

Source is definitely the first point where we could start working, but it doesn't end there. We also need to consider synergy between speakers and the amplifier. Perhaps, the speakers need higher current/power/impedance load and is struggling to get that from the amplifier. Or that amplifier needs consistent power and a power conditioner/offline UPS is not offering a steady effortless power to run the speakers. Or simply the fact that the speakers aren't designed for such explosive dynamics.

I think these speakers (P3) do slower dynamic shifts beautifully and are struggling a bit with sudden dynamic shifts.
I use them with a Croft (45wpc) and LFD LE Mk V (85wpc) - great synergy IMO
I use an inline APC UPS (double conversion) and a sound foundations power board (conditioner? Don’t know)
Decent cables (power, IC- Belden and speaker cables-Kimber)
I am exploring the LPS options

i had an allow shanti- and recently got a topping p50 as well. Still under observation for changes and improvements. P50 is definitely versatile with 5V/1.5A * 2 nos and 15V/1A. Seems compact single POwer supply for 3 electronics. I currently have a wiin pro, wiim mini and zen stream connected on it. In time will let go of the wiim mini but this PS will drive 2 streamers for sure. Not sure if this is helpful information in anyway for your situation but atleast its an on going experiment and next time you come home you can check it out.

I’d say putting some time and effort in understanding this would be well worth the effort and possibly even save you some money while making choices. I thought it had some distilled wisdom that I wish I had known much earlier in my journey. One way is to discuss with other experienced FM from your city. Best wishes
