Nice! Which one is it?
DPReview is considered as one of the best Digital Photography Website.
Leica lenses are the best but if you look at the electronic side of their camera body ie, the sensor and low noise performance then the Nikons / Canons are much better.
However Leica bodies are all metal and very sturdy.
Best combination may be is a Nikon D3s body with Leica Lenses.

An alternate choice would be to go for a Panasonic body. Leica makes the lenses for most mid-end and high-end Panasonic cameras. You will usually find a Panny equivalent with the exact same features, build quality, etc. for half the price.
Consider the GF1, for example. SLR features, Leica lens, rangefinder size.

Except for the entry level, most SLRs are metal bodies as well. The famed Leica ruggedness is only really valid for their all-mechanical film cameras. There are some nice tales of people happily snapping away on their Leicas in -30 temperatures when their other cameras froze up
