Lenco L-3808

Hi guys,
One of my friend has offered his Lenco L-3808 TT for 15k, which he purchased from Singapore 2 years back.

Just wanted to know if any of you guys have been using this TT and is it worth going for it?

I hope you are not confusing this with older Lencos ? this is totally different.

I would suggest you go for one of the newer Denon/ Marantz/ that this, but again could be because I have not heard of this being discussed anywhere.
