Hi Folks,
Since my 3 year old 40 inch Samsung TV went kaput after a power issue in my apartment, I was in the lookout for a new TV. Yesterday night while browsing through Flipkart I noticed LG 40ub800t 4K TV available for <52K. I booked it right away and delivery is expected for Sat.
Am surprised that no one has reviewed it here, since it seems to be the cheapest 4K TV around. Saw some good reviews from sites outside India.
I understand that 4K content is still not available, but for this price point, its not much of a difference since regular 40 inch Samsung / Sony smart TVs costs the same if not higher, so I thought why not future proof since there is no additional costs.
Any thoughts on this TV?

Yes, one of it does have. Btw after a few weeks of using this TV, my recommendation is that you can give it a miss. The upscaling does not work so well, not sure how it works with other TVs. So 4k content looks awesome, however HD channels from tatasky looked better in my Samsung HD TV and SD content looks very bad.
