The Design Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany is one of the most highly respected design prizes worldwide. Due to its strict participation criteria - any nominee must have won at least one important national or international prize before and must be nominated by the Minister of Economy of one of Germany's federal countries - it's also called the "Prize of Prizes" in the international world of design.
